Doggie Walking
Buttercup Paddock
We offer a peaceful safe area to walk your dog or dogs. You can walk with another dog if you want to or simply have your own dog and no one to disturb you.
Please call to see the area if you want to before you book. There are rescue dogs with us already but they are kennelled and they enjoy the paddock whilst you are not there.

The paddock is inspected every day but even with the closest inspection defects can be missed. We would appreciate it if you see any defects if you could either tell us verbally or send an email to admin@forestfarmservices.co.uk.
Pricing
We have been charging the same fees since 2018, but recently had to raise our fees to cover the increased overheads running the rescue kennels. We don’t want any dogs to lose out and if this causes any problems please call me, Howard 07786073355.
We offer per visit option as well as a discounted bulk purchase of 10 bookings.
Per visit: £5.25 per half hour.
Bulk purchase: £42.00 for 10 bookings (20% discount). You will get the option to select this bulk purchase during the booking process. Unused bookings remain in your account to be selected another time.

Please feel free to use the hosepipe to clean off your dog.
On advice from local veterinarians you are going to be asked to confirm that your dog’s vaccinations are up to date on the booking page.
Keeping them up to date will protect your dog and protect everyone else’s as well. If you want advice about vaccinations speak to your veterinarian or email us.

Additional Services
Paws for Thought
We now offer a new service to help with keeping people well both physically and mentally. If you have a dog then you are welcome to come and exercise on a safe socially distanced field (you will be on your own) or if you don’t have a dog we will lend you one for your session. All that you have to do is book on for a dog walking session and then call us or email to arrange for a dog to be provided and if you like the dog we can team you up and either keep using the dog on loan or talk to us about rehoming on a permanent basis.
Buttercup Paddock House Rules
Conditions of Use
- The field and track to the field can be slippy. Make sure that you wear suitable footwear.
- The paddock now has a mixture of six feet tall panel fencing and hawthorn hedging over six feet. The base of the hedging is now covered with wire fencing with 4” squares.
- No field is incapable of being escaped from giving a dog the time and opportunity. If you are in doubt we invite you to check the arrangements before you book. Just call us and we will show you around.
- The Dogs Trust are now using the Paddock for their dogs with no issues. You may consider this a sign of satisfaction with the fencing or you may not.
- We are always looking to improve. If you want to tell us how, please feel free to contact us. We will not be offended.
Instructions When You Arrive
- Leave enough space in front of your car to open the gate towards you.
- Before opening make sure that there are no dogs on the yard.
- If there are they will come to the gate. If they do ring the bell and wait.
- If the yard is clear park anywhere without blocking the access.
- Walk dog towards the paddock which is at the end of the lane on the left.
Reminders
We are proud that the paddock allows you to walk your dog without being stressed by other people and other dogs. So that everyone can enjoy a stress free visit, please remember the following:
- Remember to make sure that you wait until the people using the paddock have left before you approach the gate? Please wait by your car until the field is free.
- Remember that this is a farm. It does not have paved areas. The routes through are pitted and slippy. You are welcome to come after sunset but the access is not illuminated nor is the paddock.
- Remember do NOT drive on to the field. You are going to damage the grass and trap your vehicle.
- Remember the field is not a bowling green. There are ups and downs. Make sure you keep a look out for the holes. We will fill them in as we are able but look where you are going at all times.
